Perfect Day for a Pop Up Farmers Market

First of all, a big THANK YOU to the Cottonwood Coffeehouse for allowing us the space to host an indoor farmer’s market! The space was bustling all day with vendors, customers, and our local, subscription crate pickups.

Vendors were selling homemade soaps, jams, baked goods, frozen meats, and more. Customers were able to enjoy a coffee and pick up a few fresh, local items on their way. And as always, our monthly subscription crate customers got to pick up their variety of local foods, just like every first Saturday of the month.

After the market ended and coffeeshop closed, we invited vendors to stay and chat with us. We wanted to hear ways that we can make Kearny County Farmers Market even better in 2024. The number one goal that came out of this meeting is to have enough customers that vendors are selling out of the things the bring each week to the market.

Over the last two years we have focused on ways to bring quality vendors to our market so that it is worth the trip, even from surrounding counties. We believe that we have a solid group of amazing growers and makers to build a market where customers will truly enjoy shopping local.

Help us spread the word in 2024 by sharing our social media posts and inviting your friends to “meet me at the market” the first Saturdays of every month, June-Oct. We hope to see you there!
