Kearny County Farmers Market Receives Grant

The Kearny County Farmers Market applied for a grant to help support local producers and growers to market their goods!

It may seem sudden to some, but years of work and many volunteer hours have come together to build the market that we have today! Our dream of making the process to help people who want to eat seasonal, local foods and keep their dollars in the local economy is starting to take off!

With the new Subscription Crates program, we now make it easier than ever to support local growers and makers year round. The Community Garden is a way to help people learn how to grow their own food. Our Market Events are a way to build community and educate our customers.

The grant received by Blue Cross Blue Shield Pathways will help us to grow this vision quickly and help us to build the dream of a healthy, thriving community and strong local economy.

Jade Like, Samantha Williams, and Caitlyn Willhaus were the Kearny County Farmers Market board members present to receive the check from Blue Cross Blue Shield.
